Patricia coaches lawyers on reducing stress and anxiety to prevent burnout. She has practiced law for almost forty years and has experienced and observed the physical, mental and emotional effects many lawyers suffer due to chronic stress and anxiety. She coaches clients to manage their stress so they can bring more energy, ease and enjoyment to their personal and professional lives. Patricia has two adult children whom she adores and she lives in Madison, Wisconsin.

My Story

I started experiencing stress and anxiety the first week of law school. Rather than taking this as a sign that I was in the wrong place, I pushed forward toward my goal of becoming an attorney. I stayed busy with no less than two jobs in addition to my classes and I attempted to relieve stress by partying in my free time!

After graduation, work at law firms and the birth of my two children, I had my own office and had increased the pressure. I struggled for many years with headaches and chronic stress at a level that I considered manageable, although it limited every aspect of my life.

After my husband's illness and death, I became even more anxious and stressed. I continued to practice law to help my clients and at the same time, I developed early-stage breast cancer. At that point, I knew that I had to learn to manage my stress or risk my life.

In my search for answers, I trained as a health coach at Health Coach Institute where I learned the transformative effect of lifestyle modifications. After taking steps to manage my stress and regaining my own health, I now help others address their stress so they can optimize their wellbeing.
